Instructions: 1. Drain the transmission fluid * Remove the automatic transmission oil pan. * Drain the transmission fluid into a container. 2. Replace the automatic transmission filter and pan gasket * Remove the old automatic transmission filter. * Install a new filter. * Install a new pan gasket. * Tighten the pan bolts. 3. Fill with transmission fluid * Pour transmission fluid into the automatic transmission through the filler neck. * Check the fluid level using the dipstick. * Add enough fluid to bring the level to the “Hot” mark on the dipstick. 4.
